At least 2 people died after the Greek island of Crete saw severe storms and flash flooding strong enough to sweep away cars over the weekend. Almost 4 months’ worth of rain fell on the island in less than 12 hours and caused flash floods that trapped people inside their homes, museums, and the airport.
