COVID-19 global movement restrictions have imposed many challenges on our movement to respond quickly and effectively to the outbreak as well as continuing on supporting the regular medical activities in the countries we work in.
MSF operates worldwide in more than 70 countries. However, Since the start of the pandemic, competition for medical supplies has led to huge price rises and widespread shortages, particularly of personal protective equipment (PPE). A global crisis requires global solidarity. We need to ensure that health workers and patients are protected, that patients can be treated, and that our essential staff can reach projects.
