June 19 (Bloomberg) -- Bloomberg's Megan Hughes reports Iridium Communications Inc., the world's second-largest provider of mobile satellite communications services, is forming a joint venture to create the first global air-traffic monitoring system. The companies involved say it will revolutionize air-traffic control, saving airlines billions of dollars and international travelers' time.
