Here is a look at the latest electronic eyepiece from Apexel, the APL-DC001. This can be attached to optical lenses, so video and images can be taken of what is seen through the scope. It has a biult in camera and slot for Micro SD / TF card, plus a USB C connector to charge up the camera. It can then send that image to a mobile phone, which can be attached to the eyepiece, or not. It can be shown on a computer screen, or screen that has access to the working app. Images and videos can then be downloaded from the memory card on the device to the phone, or the memory card can be removed to download to computer via a memoray card reader. The device is easy to use and set up. It worked really well with my Spotting scope and Rangefinder binoculars, but didn't do so well with my digital and optical rifles scope, as the focusing was not as good. It appears to have a fixed focus, so eye relief scopes will make a big difference. This would do well for those with spotting scopes looking at recording their shot, binoculars, microscopes and astranomical telescopes. Hopefully the next versions will have adjustable focus lenses.
