In the 2000s everybody was scared by the effect baby boomers retiring will have on the stock market. It has been already 5 years since the first baby boomer retired and stock have been going only up since then. Nevertheless I found an interesting analysis form the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco where they analyze the impact of retiring baby boomers and other age impacts on stock market valuations. The outcome isn't nice at all as the S&P 500 is expected to fall to 920 points in 2025. We will see if it will actually happen but it is a good thing to keep an eye on the risks.
