DC Comics has given moviegoers some of the most iconic characters in pop culture history. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and even the Joker have been featured in standalone movies over the past couple of decades.

But maybe it's time to give other DC Comics characters a chance to shine on the silver screen. DC Comics does have other compelling superheroes and supervillains waiting to be unleashed for the enjoyment of audiences. It may be time to start those online petitions. We live in world of sequels and reboots, but here are DC characters who deserve their own movie.
