Professor David Overly, Ph.D. presents an overview of the Peace Studies course he will teach during the 2020 Study Abroad semester in Oslo, Norway. Professor Overly will be teaching HUM 123: Introduction to Peace Studies, Saving Civilization. Overly has been a professor of English and humanities at Citrus College for twenty-eight years. In 2015, he established the Citrus College peace studies program, the third such program at a California community college. He has visited Oslo multiple times, including once as a journalist covering the 2015 Nobel Peace Prize Ceremony. He looks forward to sharing Oslo with his students
