Even now, a lot of people travel to Egypt to view the Great Pyramids. We know that they were made by Ancient Egyptians, but that's about all we know. Egypt was one of the richest and most advanced civilizations when these colossal pyramids were constructed. Despite the fact that there are many theories regarding these pyramids and their intended uses, it appears that we still don't fully understand them. Indeed, the Pharaohs utilized them as a sort of tomb, but was there a deeper purpose, and why were they constructed in a particular shape?
