This is not a “how to” video.
Front brake pads and discs replacement on an Audi A3 2.0 TDI Sport Quattro 8P (2012). The condition of these brakes were causing a juddering motion through the pedal any time the brakes were applied.
I decided to get coated discs as they look better than non coated which tend to rust up fairly quickly around the hub area.
I only showed one side in this video as it’s the same work involved for the other minus the brake pad wear indicator connection.
Off camera I cleaned up the calliper carrier with a wire brush and swapped the disc retaining bolt with a new one.
