As the Lionesses head to the World Cup final, we’re choosing to reflect on the pioneers of women's football, and the prejudice they faced while carving a path.

On 17 November 1972, ITN travelled to Buckinghamshire to catch the Lionesses preparing for their first international match against Scotland.
