Two farmer bills were passed in the Rajya Sabha amid protests and massive uproar from the MP's.
Eight Pro-Tamil groups including May 17 Movement and Thanthai Periyar David's Iyakkam assembled near Shastri Bhavan Chennai to protest against Farm Bill.
Calling the changes to be against the interest of the farmers, nearly 100 cadres gathered at the location. Shockingly, the protesters began to burn a copy for the Farm Bills, forcing the Police to intervene.
The raffic was blocked for nearly 30 minutes and all the protestors were later detained by the cops.
Tyson, May 17 Movement Convenor stated that more such protests will be organized until the Bills are withdrawn.
