This week Casey sits down with Bary Roberts Strachan, one of the true pioneers of sustainable tourism in Costa Rica. Way back in the 1980s, Bary had one of the first tour operations in Costa Rica. He has served as President of the private sector’s Tourism Chamber and was Vice president of the government’s Tourism Institute. Later, he served as president of the National Institute of BioDiversity and helped establish Costa Rica’s Sustainable Tourism Certificate. Today, he's a consultant who navigates the worlds of private & public sector tourism in Costa Rica better than anybody.
