I ordered the shirt in size small since I usually wear a S or XS US men’s size. But right out of the packaging I knew that it would be big on me. The shirt has 3 buttons at the neck and a leather tab at the breastbone. The material is a thin soft finely ribbed cotton, making the the shirt lightweight like a t-shirt. The hood is a two piece split,but has a pretty saggy shape that's wide at the neck. The one big disappointment out of the box is that my garment was dirty and stained. This was particularly sad because the shirt is white which is already notoriously hard to keep clean. I’m not sure what the stains were from, but they were brown/gray/black spots scattered in various patches on the garment.
So as expected the garment is pretty loose fitting, but it doesn’t look so baggy from a distance. It sits like a comfy loose sweatshirt, maybe closer to a US size M or L than S. The only thing that gives away that the size isn’t right on me is that the shoulders hang down my arms a little giving me mini sleeves. Other than that the length at the waist actually isn’t super long on me and comes just past my pants pockets. The shirt is soft and comfortable to wear, so it might still make the wardrobe cut on occasion.
