দেশের প্রবাসী আয়ের অর্ধেকের বেশি আসে চার জেলায়। জেলাগুলো হলো ঢাকা, চট্টগ্রাম, কুমিল্লা ও সিলেট। ২০২২–২৩ অর্থবছরে দেশে যত প্রবাসী আয় এসেছে, তার ৫২ শতাংশের বেশিই এসেছে এ চার জেলায়।
