Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett says racism persists in the United States and tackling it is a matter of policy.
Democratic Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois pressed Barret on the impact of Geourge Floyd's death at the hands on police officers, she said the impact on her and her family was "personal."
"As to putting my finger on the nature of the problem, you know, whether, as you say, it's just outright or systemic racism or how to tackle the the issue of making it better those things, you know, are policy questions," Barrett said.
