Nancy shares the 10th and final tutorial for the Learning To Quilt 2-Great Lakes Voyage quilt. The last block is the New York Beauty created by paper piecing. This block is used as the cornerstones of the quilt. Purchase the book at [ Ссылка ].
You'll need a few special tools for this block. Nancy recommends Papers for Foundation Piecing by Martingale or Carol Doak's Foundation Paper, a smaller 28mm rotary cutter, an add-a-quarter ruler and a Clover mini iron. You most likely used these tools for the Mariner's Compass block in the center of the quilt. She shares a tip about her cutting mat that you may want to consider for yourself.
Nancy walks through the steps to paper piece each section of the New York Beauty block. She provides tips and techniques to easily complete this block.
