In the video I went to visit Gulf View Square, an enclosed shopping mall in Port Richey, Florida. Opened in 1980, it served the people in west Pasco County since the nearest shopping mall to Port Richey at the time was Countryside Mall, located 20 miles (32 km) south on US 19.

The mall itself has seen better days, and doesn’t look like it’ll be long for this world. The food court is completely void of any tenants and there is only a handful of stores left in the building. I am also pretty sure the pandemic didn’t help the already faltering mall with business either.
