This is my homage to the iMac G4. Apple's most uniquely designed desktop computer that was introduced in January 2002 and ended production in 2004. It's the model that fits perfectly with the early generations of the iPod and, to me, represents Apple's most interesting product era.
The iMac G4 was the first Apple desktop with an LCD display and the only desktop that was capable of rotating its display. It came with a Motorola Power PC G4 processor with various speed capacities. This particular model was 1.25GHz. The iLife suite of Apple software was introduced with this iMac in 2003 and MacOS X Tiger was the last version of OS X to run on this iMac.
I go over some basic features of this iMac including running emulator software for older versions of Macintosh computers from the 80s and 90s. I encourage anyone to go out and buy a decent used model of this iMac just to have on their desk. It looks amazing! I hope you enjoy the video.
