The Galaxy S Duos 2 is the latest budget offering from Samsung, and it retains most of the hardware details that were seen on the original Galaxy S Duos. The Galaxy S Duos 2 comes with a slightly faster 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, but has the same 768 MB of RAM as well as the same amount of internal memory that was on the Galaxy S Duos. There is a total of 4 GB, although users will be access only 1.8 GB. However, there is a micro-SD card slot that boosts total storage to 64 GB, which should be a welcome addition.

The screen on the Galaxy S Duos is a 4.0-inch offering, and features a resolution of 800 x 480. This leads to a pixel density of 233 ppi, which is the same as that of the Galaxy S Duos. The design of the Galaxy S Duos 2 is very similar to that of its predecessor, and it has the same candybar design structure,as well as similar dimensions. Overall weight of the device has been brought down by 2 gms to 118 gms. There are the usual hardware buttons at the bottom of the screen, and the mobile is laced with plastic.

The camera segment on the Galaxy S Duos 2 is little different to the Galaxy S Duos, as the main 5 MP camera is the same on both devices. The VGA front shooter has similarly not been altered.
