Dartmoor National Park is a fantastic place located in the heart of Devon. It’s a real treasure and is great for people looking for hiking trails, interesting wildlife and of course the wild ponies! You will find yourself surrounded by beautiful landscapes, I would recommend choosing your hiking trail before you go and make a day of it. Also, remember to check the weather before you go, it’s best explored on a sunny day with clear skies. Just an hour away you will find the beautiful Devon coastline. If you want to pack more into your trip, you can visit the wonderful coastal towns of Salcombe and Dartmouth.
