Mumbai, Dec 11 (ANI): Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut on December 11 said the opposition parties need to come together and strengthen the United Progressive Alliance (UPA). He also extended his support to Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar as UPA chairman, if he gets elected, although he hinted that the latter has refused the offer. “We will be happy if (Sharad) Pawar sir becomes UPA chairman. But I have heard that he has personally refused it. He is a big leader of Maharashtra and the country. We are working under his leadership.
