This is a step by step video showing you how to cook a traditional Burmese dish called ohn no khao swe. It’s a coconut chicken broth that you serve over noodles and different side condiments. Burma is also known as Myanmar now. This is such a delicious dish hope you enjoy.
Ingredients:
Chicken (thighs and legs skinned & washed)
1 tbsps Turmeric powder
2 tbsps Fish sauce
1 tbsps Fish (optional if you have)
3 small/ medium red onions
5 cloves of garlic
1 and 1/2 inch fresh ginger
Vegetable oil
1 teaspoon chilli powder
1 tin coconut milk
Use half a cup to mix with 2 cups plain water
2 tbsps Gram flour ( chickpea flour/besan)
Egg noodles
Coriander
Hard boiled eggs
Fried garlic/onions
Chilli flakes
Lemon
