Special Ops swimming is not always standardized across branches of service. In fact, you will use the Combat Swimmer Stroke (CSS) with fins when attending Navy / USMC Spec Ops selection programs and the Air Force Special Warfare will use the Lead Arm - Trail Arm (LATA) side stroke with fins for their endurance swim training.
Notice the LATA does not use the arms in the swimming motion and requires the swimmer to get really good at kicking (medium-sized flutterkicks), whereas the CSS uses the top/bottom arm pull during the breathing cycle.
Do you need training programs for any spec ops program, military, police, or firefighter training, check out [ Ссылка ] if you do.
Why the CSS / LATA article? Check it out: [ Ссылка ]
