Video #248 - A long awaited train journey! On the Thiruvananthapuram Central - Puratch Thalaivar Dr MG Ramachandran Central Station Chennai - AC Super Fast Express! Introduced as a Duronto Express in 2012, it was soon converted to a normal AC Super Fast Express due to poor patronage. It had very few stops in the initial days - and now has stops at every district headquarter station in Kerala.
This journey was from Palakkad Jn to Chennai Central in AC 3-Tier. I had added food as part of the ticket - so watch the video to find what food was served to us on board! This was my first journey in 2024 - since I had to take a long break from traveling due to health issues!
