The Progress City model originated at Disneyland as part of the Carousel of Progress post show. Originally nearly 7000 square feet, a portion of it was moved to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World in 1975 and can still be seen while riding the PeopleMover. The PeopleMover never stops though, so this video from 1991 shows a lot of detail you may miss while riding!
