Stripping wires with a varied thickness of the outer coating hardens the task not to damage the inner conductors for hand pressure and cutting depth of the blades cannot be controlled properly.
With the new Locator-system users can equip the wire strippers Allrounder and UNI-Plus with a power and level limiter. After the distance of the blades is defined by adjusting the Locator to the correct thickness of the coating, the cutting depth in to the coating is limited. Wires with a returning coating are stripped quicker.
The distance of the blades can be precisely defined in a diameter range of 4 - 11,9 mm (with Allrounder).
The Locator-box is stored in the grip and equipped with a hex key.
The multi-colored Locators makes it easy to reserve uniquely adjusted Locators for returning wires.
The Locator-system avoids cutting wounds and achieves a mandatory level of process safety in wire stripping.
