Director Jack Coleman's pursuit of surf filmmaking virtuosity is almost monk-like. He lives a humble existence, completely structured towards being able to devote himself to filming the right people at the right time on the right waves... and stitch it all together with the right music, like a modern poet composing something just beyond the grasp of words.

His recent film, ZONE FREQUENCY (featured in TSJ 28.4) has claimed "Best Picture" laurels at both the Florida Surf Film Festival and the London Surf Film Festival. We asked Jack if he'd share his own favorite section of the film with a bit of personal insight into why it means so much to him.
