Watch this before you upgrade from Katana 50 MKII to Katana 100 MKII.

Follow along as I show you how easy it is to setup and control the Boss Katana 50 MKII without breaking the bank.

How to use:

Section 1: Wirelessly Connect the M-VAVE Chocolate to Android Phone

1. Scan the QR code at the bottom of the M-VAVE Chocolate to get the required CubeSuite app.
2. Install the downloaded CubeSuite apk.
3. Open CubeSuite and allow it to pair your phone with M-VAVE Chocolate. M-VAVE Chocolate has to be switched ON.
4. Allow pairing of your phone with M-VAVE Chocolate.

Section 2: Control the Boss Katana 40 MKII

1. Select "Keyboard B" in the CubeSuite app.
2. Connect the Katana amp to the phone using a USB type B to Micro USB OTG cable. I have a printer cable with an OTG adapter.
3. Open the Katana Librarian app. Note: The app's features you'll see here are available in the paid version.
4. Power ON the Boss Katana 50 MKII amp to activate the Katana Librarian app.
5. To tell the footswitches what to do: Go to Setting, Hotkey settings.

Tap A: CH1 then press footswitch A and tap OK to save it.
Tap A: CH2 then press footswitch B and tap OK to save it.
Tap B: CH1 then press footswitch C and tap OK to save it.
Tap B: CH2 then press footswitch D and tap OK to save it.

That's it! You're all set!

You now have footswitch control of your Katana amp.
