A viral video shows primary school students being served plain rice with salt under the mid-day meal scheme. Parents have protested against the school for the quality of food and the principal has been suspended. An investigation has been initiated in this matter and District Magistrate has said appropriate action will be taken. Education department officials have also been asked to look into the matter.
