Each generation in the workforce has different expectations. According to research by Gallup, Millennials are the least engaged (29%) generation in the workforce, with 60% open to new job opportunities. They crave purpose and meaning from their work, and are driven by creativity and freedom.
In general, they care less about loyalty and more about experience. This may clash with the values and goals of older generations. The challenge for organisations is to manage these expectations of Millennials and other generations. What is your employer brand saying about your organisation?
