Having been on such a terrible run of form, this was not the best time for a Manchester Derby from City's point of view. Only 3 fit defenders, a decimated squad and a squad that was arguably too small in the first place.
To be honest 2 sides that have lost their way locked horns here , and what looked to be a dull 1-0 without playing well was turned into a 1-2 loss by some egregious individual errors,
