United Airlines flight attendants rallied Thursday outside Newark Liberty International Airport as part of a nationwide day of action; some 19 similar rallies were held around the country. The union representing the flight attendants, the Association of Flight Attendants, is calling for the resolution of contract issues to address chronic problems facing flight crew.
