This video is of a visit to the southern tower and a return visit to the nameless nunnery near the ocean in Dragon Quest V on the SNES. This video takes place during the second phase of the game.

The teleportal from within Reinhart castle takes the party to a shrine south of the nunnery. At night, the shrine is blocked to ensure that the player does not enter the castle at night.

The southern tower is where the mirror of ra is held. However, the gates of the tower are locked shut and there is no other way inside.

The party travels to the nunnery to see if they can find a way into the tower and learn that only the nuns are able to open the gates of the tower. Sensing their need, Maria volunteers to go with the heroes and open the tower for them. She joins the party but does not fight in battles.

The featured monster companion during this video is a fandagow named Danny.
