Script:
we have a shattered camera module on
there this is a replacement glass cover
but before we go over what we're going
to want to do is we're going to want to
go ahead we're just going to want to
power that off just like that so that
our phone is off while we do this so
here we got our heating pad go ahead and
turn it on see it's set we're going to
go ahead and we're just going to put
this on our heating pad just like so and
we're going to leave it for maybe like
minutes so we got our glove on because
it's really hot now just going to go
ahead and grab it off we got our phone
here and then we've got a pair of just
some tweezers here you just need to get
one good piece there it is see then you
can kind of you can see I can now grab
the adhesive the adhesive attach um
that's where you can really do a lot so
here we just got a razor blade take that
I can kind of going to slide that under
there got this part to pop off and
you're just going to kind of working
your way around and you know watch out
for the sensors you can see that there's
you see there's a sensor right there you
can look at the glass and you can see
okay there's sensors down there that I
have to watch out for grab that razor
blade and kind of just get it under
there and see I'm getting that glass
up so you can see we're really starting
to get some progress
now see there it is fo left here just
like that so as you can see we've got it
all off there there's a little bit of
adhesive piece of left on there that I
don't think we're really going to be
able to get off very well you know
damaging the camera at all be worried
about that kind of get it off but it's
probably better to just leave it as flat
as possible on there help mitigate risk
to your phone because there was broken
glass on there um we're just going to
we're just going to go ahead and grab a
piece of tape here just like that and we
are just going to take this tape and
we're just going to put it on there you
know just kind of rub it down a little
bit be very very very gentle this will
help to pull off all the little
shattered pieces of glass that are on
there you can see pull it up see it's
looking a little bit better I still see
some broken pieces of Glass on there so
we're going to just grab another piece
here this camera seems to be the main
problem and this one this one kind of
goes in so I'm trying to kind of push in
a little bit more to those crevices and
just try to my main goal is to just get
the glass out there might still be a
little bit of Glass on there you can see
that is pretty clean now pretty clean we
going to go ahead and quickly turn this
on so of just quick ly test out the
camera not seeing any marks there's
nothing showing up here or anything like
that we do the wide lens you can see
there is nothing showing up there's no
marks it's working it is working you can
see there's those pluses in there but
the camera is all working for all of
them and there's no marks or anything
showing up we're going to go ahead and
power this off again I'm going to go
.... it
in there make sure that it's really nice
and tight you want this to be as water
resistant as possible so you know really
just push it in there make sure it's
nice and in there um and then we're
actually going to take this put this
back on the heater we're just going to
go ahead put that back on there and
leave it and we'll leave it for maybe
like
minutes so as you can see
minutes
should be plenty for this you can just
go ahead and turn that off and then we
can go ahead and grab our phone here and
now for this it is going to be quite hot
so you do want to use that glove just
you know just want to kind of press
press down maybe wiggle it a little bit
more and just really make sure it's
firmly firmly on there nice just like
that and then you know go ahead now you
can peel that off and just like that you
have replaced the back glass on your
Google pixel or other phone
