Making video fun and creative vs something that just distracts you from the moment is 👌🏼
In this example I teach how to do a fun opening shot for a back to school keepsake film (see my other recent reel for what else to include in your film). It becomes a cute 10 min project you can do with your kid!
OR you can also keep it simple with the method I teach in my DIY Family Films course. It IS possible to create cinematic looking keepsake home movies of your fave moments using just your phone, and without spending a ton more time.

TIPS on creating this backpack shot:
get the shot set up and do a TEST run with yourself first to make sure it works and ONLY then get your kids to come do the shot! You don’t want to troubleshoot with them.
•Windex your picture frame
• If you record in selfie mode you will see the recording screen reflected on the glass - this is why I recommend placing your phone screen down and recording with other lens!
• the box helps add dimension to your shot and allows you to place items within frame (like the crayon) - you can use any item you like that is small enough to not fill up the whole frame!
