U predgrađu Jerevana, nalazi se Tvrđava Erebuni, mesto najstarije Urartu civilizacije, koja je na prostoru današnje prestonice živela u periodu Mesopotamije. U podnožju tvrđave, podignut je muzej gde su izloženi artifakti pronađeni na tvrđavi. Kroz muzej nas je proveo kustos, arhitekta i arheolog Ruben Sargasjan, koji nam je pročitao i natpis u klinastom pismu.

Erebuni Fortress is an Urartian fortified city, located in Yerevan, Armenia. It is 1,017 metres above sea level. It was one of several fortresses built along the northern Urartian border and was one of the most important political, economic, and cultural centers of the vast kingdom. Beneath the fortress, the museum was built and all the artifacts found were placed here. We visited the museum, led by architect and archaeologist Rouben Sargsyan.
