Some say it is part of Serbia, some consider it an independent nation. Either way, you need to cross the border in order to visit and that is exactly what we do today.
We will leave Belgrade and head out to the border crossing in Merdare. On the way I will explain to you all you have to do in order to get from Serbia to Kosovo.
And in the latter half of the video, we will explore the capital of Kosovo - Pristina.
We will visit the Cathedral of Mother Theresa (including the observation tower with really badly functioning elevator), the National Library, the Youth and Sport Center, the Skanderbeg square, many local mosques and a lot more.
And let's try to answer ourselves the question - what is Kosovo?
