Pathanamthitta: MLA Saji Cheriyan has said that atleast fifty people may have died in various areas of Chengannur, the town worst hit by floods. This morning boats were sent in for rescue operations. He also told Mathrubhumi News that many people still remain stranded in the Chengannur floods.
