Dr Zelda Botha has dedicated almost three decades of her professional career to teaching children with special education needs. Research for her doctorate focused on the role of digital technology in promoting skills development for learners with severe intellectual disabilities. She looked at how learners exposed to technology are better prepared for the workplace and are able to function optimally in society.
Dr. Botha is the Deputy Principal at the Rusthof School for Learners with Special Education Needs. She elaborates.
