On Friday, May 21, the who’s who of Canada’s Indigenous music scene gathered in Winnipeg for the return of the Indigenous Music Awards. And after a one-year hiatus, the awards show didn’t miss a beat.
Hosted by country artists Kimberley Dawn and Jerry Sereda, the event kicked off with an exclusive red carpet entrance and treated the audience of 1,400 to performances by Crystal Shawanda, Northern Cree and more.
