This is Part III of the trip moving my new Catalina 27 across the San Francisco Bay from Sausalito to Martinez, California. This is the unplanned part that took place in the nighttime. Along the way, we discovered that the boat had no running lights due to a dead battery that came with her -- and then our cell phones died.
Despite all these challenges, and with some quick jury-rigging of a marine electrical system, we discovered that sailing at night is glorious. An amazing adventure...
