Some hunt just for meat, while others hunt just for trophies. In my opinion, the true hunter is the one who hunts for both, the one who lives off the land but realises and respects the importance of having top class genetics in a herd of deer. One goes hand-in-hand with the other. Here is a classic Charters Towers chital deer hunt, the first of many in this series.
