Shreya Mittal, a PhD scholar at Delhi University's Sri Venkateshwara College lost Rs 3 Lakh of the stipend in Senior Research Fellowship from CSIR (Council of Scientific & Industrial Research). Instead of the available two years of fellowship, Shreya was given only 1 year and 5 months which
resulted in losing 7 months of tenure and the associated stipend.
