Casting back to last year’s TA|Insights we asked Scott Lloyd to tackle the notorious northern day-ticket complex, A1 Pits. It was a really tough early spring session, that eventually saw Scott nick two fish for the cameras on Pit 6, the largest lake on the fishery, as well as unfortunately losing one off the surface. Always seeking perfection and the fishery itself really getting under Scott’s skin he vowed to return!
In the end, Scott loved it on A1 Pits so much, he fished two separate sessions, intent on getting what he set his sights on originally, a 30-pounder. With everything from surface fishing to long range tactics displayed in great depth, you cannot fail to pick up a few valuable tips from one of the most enthusiastic and talented anglers around! And… as many of you will know by now, if Scott sets his sights on something, there’s no stopping him achieving it, so that A1 Pits big ‘un was never going to be too far away!
