Advent is a season of longing - of hope and expectation. We
anticipate the coming Christ Child in Christmas and long for our
Lord’s coming at the end of time and in our lives now. Tonight, listen
to the words expressed in song and God’s word read from scripture
and hear the sound of longing. Again and again, the prayer to our
Lord is, “Come!”
