Do THIS instead of offering meal plans🍴➡️
I often get asked by nutrition coaches if they should offer meal plans to clients.
My answer: no
Here's why:
1️⃣: Meal plans tell you WHAT to eat, not HOW.
This makes it hard for your clients to create good habits that will last.
2️⃣: Providing meal plans can be a HUGE liability in some places, and might not be allowed at all.
Here's what to do instead ➡️
1️⃣: Prescribe macro and calorie targets along with healthy habits your client will stick to
2️⃣: Have your clients track their food to hold them accountable
This approach is more flexible - it gives your clients a plan and the freedom to adjust their goals to fit their lifestyle.
