The United Nations Secretary General has tapped the UN's chief humanitarian official to immediately work with the parties in the Ukraine conflict on a humanitarian ceasefire agreement. Antonio Guterres also expressed hopes that Martin Griffiths would travel to both Moscow and Kyiv as soon as possible to engage directly with Russia and Ukraine leaders. The UN Chief was also pressed on growing concerns of a nuclear or biological conflict in the region, something he said he struggled to imagine.
