The term sandwich generation refers to young to middle-aged adults who are simultaneously raising children and supporting their aging parent(s). The roles of parent and caregiver each require a tremendous amount of energy and time on their own; taking on both at the same time can push these caregivers to their emotional and physical limits if there aren’t strategies in place to help them stay afloat. These caregivers are typically pressed to balance competing responsibilities, conflicting feelings, and the emotional weight that comes with consistently being needed.
During this free, 60-minute webinar, we will explore:
- How to recognize changing roles and dynamics within the family when caregiving;
- Juggling multiple responsibilities and demands; and
- How to cope with the stress of caregiving and take care of your own mental health.
