Residents of Ethiopian northern border town of 'Shire' have reportedly prevented the Ethiopian army from leaving the areas near neighboring Eritrea. The incident is the second of its kind in that part of the country with people claiming the withdrawal of the defence forces is ill-timed. Ethiopia's Prime Minister, Abiy Ahmed, called the incident illegal.
