Welcome to MotorCity Boat Werks! I make boat building and boat restoration videos for the DIY boat builder. Every few weeks I post a boat building or boat repair video on YouTube to document my progress on various boat projects: old sailboat restorations, composite and fiberglass boat building, my pocket trawler restoration.
I created my YouTube channel for two reasons. First, I wanted to document the restoration of my 1986 Albin 27 Family Cruiser. We call it a pocket trawler. It can be towed on a trailer by the do-it-yourself owner.
Second, I felt there was something missing from boat restoration videos on YouTube in so far as infornation cocering the real details if amateur boat building and restoration. I felt I could do a little better than what was curedntky available and really help other builders. My commitment to you is that every dollar from every Patreon will go solely towards stories of real amateur boat building and real amateur boat restoration, and stories of boat motivation.
